Finishing GiGi’s Coat of Many Colors Scrap Afghan…

My Hubby’s Mom Started this Crochet Afghan many years ago, made from scrap specialty yarns of all textures and weights, her eyes and health failing, she never finished.

She passed 10 years ago.
It took me this long to finish. I wanted it to be her as I added to it.

As I knotted and kept every thread she left dangling in the color changes, starts, and finish. It was her Coat of Many Colors to hand down and add to. Some rows are double crochet, others single crochet. A meandering of either or…

I realized that while adding to this the next generation could pick it up and add to it also, so there is no border, no finished edge, and on my last row, my specialty scrap yarn ran out almost midway, tied off awaiting the next to pick up where we left off.

Your having what? For Breakfast?

Ayep, I am a Whimsical Ecelectic MawMaw. I wanted something different  for breakfast, Flavorful. (I have never been the usual foods for breakfast gal) Of course we need good for my health get me through the day food. So I decided to have a mix up.

I was a Chef’s Assistant at a Country Club in the mid 70’s. The best Advice Chef Richard told me was to smell my spices before adding. If they smell like what you are wanting to make, add a little and taste. Always a little, because you can always add to, but you cannot take from.

Roasted Sweet Potatoes with Garam Masala seasoning. I love this Seasoning, the depth of warmth and exotic flavor matches perfect with Roasting a Sweet Potato. This Is One Large Mississippi Sweet Potato cut like fries. I sprinkled about a Teaspoon of Garam Masala. Add some Salt and Olive Oil, Toss it to coat and bake for 20 minutes in a 400° Oven and you have Tender, Sweet and Savory in every bite.

Before the Roasting. 400° for 20 minutes.

Here’s the good for you part that Mawmaw has to let you know about. Sweet Potatoes: Sweet potatoes are a rich source of fibre as well as containing an array of vitamins and minerals including iron, calcium, selenium, and they’re a good source of most of our B vitamins and vitamin C. ~~BBC Good Food. Also according to Medical News Today Health Benefits are: Improving insulin sensitivity in diabetes, Maintaining healthful blood pressure levels, Reducing the risk of cancer, Improving digestion and regularity, Protecting eye health, Boosting immunity and Reducing inflammation. So this one Sweet Tater is I believe Labeled a Super Food. Makes for a Super Day! 😉

Now let’s look at this Garam Masala Spice Blend. I do get mine from Spice and Tea Exchange Garam masala is full of antioxidants which help in preventing skin problems and also help fight inflammation. According to Dr. Rupali Dutta, garam masala has carminative properties and apart from boosting digestion, it also helps in fighting bloating, flatulence and even nausea. ~~NDTV Food

Healing Plant Foods

I can say that with all foods Unprocessed is best. Everything in Moderation.

Garam Masala Roasted Sweet Potato and Basil Pesto, Tomato, Muenster Sammie

The Sammie? Ayep it’s another one of my Flavor Foods … It consists of a Frozen Slice of Whole Foods Pioneer Bread (or what you have on hand that you enjoy). Spread w/Basil Pesto. Then slice in half. Add a Slice of Muenster Cheese cut in half and placed on both sides. Slice of Tomato placed on top of one side ( Or like me one for each side). I Sprinkled McCormick’s Himalayan Salt, Pepper, Garlic Mix Blend on. (This Blend has become a favorite and used Daily) Put onto a sheet pan in Toaster Oven or oven til Cheese is melted and Bread Toasted. Put them together as a sammie, or eat Open faced. Whichever makes you smile.😁

And I will not Torment you on the goodness of the Sammie.

Always Remember, In today’s time, Information is at your fingertips. If this MawMaw can do it, so can you.😊

Waving 👋 Until next Time. May Today and All Your Tomorrows be filled with Grace, Love, Laughter, and Peace. ~~MawMaw Pam

P.S. I am slowly Understanding how to Use this Blog Thing! Go Me! 😁

112° Heat Index, Health, and Breakfast

Breakfast is Served

It’s Stinkin Winkin Hot! 112° And everything is Melty Hot, Sahara Dust Cloud overhead and it’s just down right Blah! Our Home was built in 1961, so I have every Ceiling Fan, Floor Fan going to move the air and try to keep it cool.

An Ice Cold Fruit Breakfast Smoothie is Perfect! I am choosing daily to eat as healthy as I can. Heart Health in every aspect. What keeps the body Healthy, Immune System. Since my emergency Heart Surgery in 2015, I have researched, (We are in a time that Information is at our fingertips, so I use it, daily). Everything in Moderation, Fresh Is Best, Unprocessed Is The Tops!

Ok, ok…MawMaw will move the subject along…😊

The Main Items are: Bananas (are Loaded w/Potassium Good For Heart Health and Blood Pressure~~WebMD), Strawberries (Protect your Heart by increasing the good cholesterol (HDL),help lower Blood Pressure, Fight Cancer, high levels of antioxidants named polyphenols~~NDTVFood), Blueberries (Antioxidant Superfood, Phytoflavinoids, High in Potassium and Vitamin C, Lower Risk of Heart Disease and Cancer, Anti-inflammatory~~WebMD). I go to The Local Produce Stand/Market and try to catch these Items on sale. I simply bring them home, clean, and freeze them in a gallon ziploc bag in a single layer.

Next is Knudson or Lakewood Coconut/Pineapple Juice. (In Todays times it is hard to find just Coconut Milk Blend, or combination of the 2, sometimes all I can find is the pineapple). Pineapple Juice is rich in antioxidants, helps protect the body from damage and disease, it contains Bromelain,a group of enzymes that may reduce inflammation, improve digestion, and boost Immunity~~Healthline. Coconut Milk Lowers cholesterol, Aids in Weight loss, packed with vitamins C, E, B1, B3, B5, and B6 as well as iron, selenium, sodium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus~~Medical News Today and NDTV food

Then there is 5.3 oz. Greek Vanilla Yogurt. Is an excellent source of calcium, which can help improve bone health. It also contains probiotics, which support a healthy bacterial balance in the gut~~Medical News Today

The Ingredients 😁
What a Super Line up 😉

Now comes the add ins, Ground Flaxseed rich in the omega-3 fatty acid ALA, lignans and fiber, all of which have been shown to have many potential health benefits. They can be used to improve digestive health, lower blood pressure and bad cholesterol, reduce the risk of cancer and may benefit people with diabetes~~Healthline

Chia Seeds Omega3, source of fiber, protein, calcium, and phosphorus. These seeds are loaded with goodness, an article link to the benefits of these super seeds.

Ground Oats, ya know the Whole Oats, not the instant Oats. Oats are among the healthiest grains on earth. They’re a gluten-free whole grain and a great source of important vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants. Studies show that oats and oatmeal have many health benefits. These include weight loss, lower blood sugar levels and a reduced risk of heart disease~~Healthline. I use Bob’s Red Mill Whole Oats and Blenderize them into a flour. 😁

Whey Protein Powder, no flavor, just plain. The Benefits of Whey Protein Powder…well here is another link to explain You can add to pancake mix, and no one knows the goodness is there.( I Love I use many of their Products).

Are We There Yet? Yes we are! In a Blender, Ninja, whateva ya got to swirl this up… add half a Frozen banana, 2-3 Frozen Strawberries, ¼-⅓ Frozen Blueberries, then add One 5.3 oz Greek Vanilla or Plain (Or any flavor that makes you smile) Shake your Juice Bottle and fill up empty yogurt cup and add to blender. 1 Tablespoon (TBsp)each Chia, Ground Flaxseed, Ground Oats, add ¼ cup Whey Protein, swirl away until blended, throw a straw in it and slurp away! All that goodness and my grandbabies thinks it’s a smoothie treat, Ayep it’s that good!😉

Roadie Meal Prep

Roadie the Rescue Pup
Protector of Sleeping Grandkids

Today was Meal Prep Roadie Food for the next 20 days.

Memories of when I was a young girl on my Great Aunts Farm. It was a sprawling 3000 acres. They had Bulls, Cows, Sheep, Goats and Chickens. Also Gardens, Rows and Rows of Beans, Tomatoes, Potatoes, corn … well you get the idea. They had 4-6 dogs on property for herding, hunting and companionship. I remember my great cousin going for hikes and coming back with Possums, or gophers, or raccoons to make a weeks worth of dog food. My Great Aunt would put all kinds of leftovers in the pot, make a gravy, toss in leftover crumbled bread, biscuits, cornbread. Before Winter she would load them up on fat from chicken skins and meats she cooked through the week. So they could fatten up and stay warm for the winter.

Waiting for the next car,
mailman, leaf…Any movement. Ears on High Alert

Well, I don’t go to that degree for my rescue pup. But I do make him Breakfast food to aid in Healthy skin and fur, and the Scoots (anal sac build up). Roadie has his issues, Terrified of Rain, Thunder, Lightening and Fireworks. He loves the Sunlight beaming in a window, playing with his shadow, all the while with a tennis ball in his mouth. We are His Pets, he protects us from every car that drives past, the squirrels, birds and lizards in the back yard. The Black 2 ft grass snake that lives under the walkway to the utility room. Every leaf that falls in the yard and the Mailman…Ayep, Roadies has his own world in which he lives. Him a Happy Rescue Pup. ( he’s about 12 now).

The Roadie Food Prep

This is Basic Recipe to suit the needs of our Roadie. 1lb Ground Turkey crumbled and cooked with Olive Oil (good for skin and fur) then 2 cups Brown Rice sauted to brown for a couple of minutes. Add 1 cup Peas (I use frozen), 1 cup diced Carrot, 1 small to medium peeled and diced Sweet Potatoe. Add 2 Cups water and simmer on warm for 20 minutes with lid on or more til water is absorbed.

I put into 1/2 Pint Jelly Canning jars. I make sure I pack them by hitting the bottom of jar into my open palm a few times. I leave about 1 inch headspace. After they have cooled enough I put them in freezer. I defrost in our Microwave for 6 minutes and give him half of a jar for breakfast. This usual makes 20 days of meals.

I do not put in Garlic, Onion or any type of seasonings. I read that a lot of these are poisonous to dogs.

He dances and high steps every morning for his breakfast. And yes that is a fresh baked Mandarin Angel Food Cake in the pic. It was baking as I prepared Roadies food. A simple Recipe for a light weight summer dessert. I thaw some Frozen Strawberries and Bluberries to serve on top of a slice. I was told this Recipe 11 years ago.( A Weight Watcher Recipe?) A Box of Angel food Cake Mix and a small can of Mandarin Orange Blended with a Blender. Add the 2 together and follow mixing instructions on box and baking instructions…no need for anything else. Easy Peasy. 😊

I’m giving you a link to Roadies favorite treat. It has Pumpkin, Peanut Butter and ahem…Bacon Grease… need I say More? 😉

Waving 👋 Until next time. May your Today and all your Tomorrows be filled with Love, Laughter, Grace, and Peace .

155th Anniversary of Juneteenth

In My Thoughts

That this may be the Year of Breaking Free, Setting the Standard of what was established 155 years ago. It Began all those Years, Lives, Deaths ago and now I Pray a New Chapter of “Equality” takes place.

No more Oppression, Being Looked down upon, Made to always feel like one is never good enough. No more One Way Streets, Its a 4 Or More Lane Highway/Interstate of flow for ALL! No One is Superior than the other.

You are all Precious

When Our Father in Heaven looks upon us, we are all Equals. No One is held higher than another. We all have Purpose, a Function on this Earth. He Loves each and everyone of us for where we are and who we are.

Let us Rise Up, Celebrate Today and every Tomorrow for moving forward, where all “Human Being’s” ( Definition: a man, woman, or child of the species Homo sapiens, distinguished from other animals by superior mental development, power to articulate speech, and upright stance) are created equal. For there is only One Human Race (Definition: human beings in general; humankind)

There are no more excuses.

Grace and Peace be unto you All

For the Birds

For a little over 16 years, I have kept the Bird feeding area filled with a Variety of Seed, Fruits, Suet and Water. It was my Husbands 1st Pagoda Style creation. and it has served it’s purpose to not allow Hawks to swoop in and have a meal. But Eventually this one figured out how to get himself in and check it out, while Big Mama was watching on.

I have yet to attract the flock of Green Parrots that pass over head 4 or more times daily. They eat in the West and nest in the East. Their squawking alerts me they are passing over. Much like the announcement of the Pileated Woodpecker who is highly loud and obnoxious. Downy Woodpeckers and Red Headed Woodpeckers also.

We have many Visitors. Some are the locals and others are just Passing through. I enjoy seeing all the activity outside my window. (Hence the blur shots, I am actually taking these through my dining room window). The songs of the Mockingbird. The Blue Jays who Mimic the sounds of a Hawk to clear out the feeding area when the Raw Peanuts have been replenished, and then announcement that “Peanuts are back on the Menu boys!” (Well I’m sure that’s what the Blue Jays are Chirping about before 3 to 4 more show up to nab and hide every Peanut). We also have an open Compost Bin that is frequented by all Birds (Including Black Birds).

Then you have the part of Nature that helps you laugh. Outside the Window of our office is this… A Tree Frog hangin out in him Tree House.

I enjoy seeing how all of these animals interact with each other. At Suppertime, as you look out the window to the feeding area, you see all of them eating together, including those pesty squirrels. I’m sure if you want to eat and survive, one must adapt and get along. Nature is always teaching a learning lesson. Til next time <waving> Love and Peace to you! ~~Pam All Pictures are taken with my Canon Camera. And can not be used without my permission. Thank You

Happy FriYay to all.

In the Garden, Bush Green Bean plants are giving me handfuls daily. (I evidently left some pods out from last season and they sprouted themselves 😁) I would put the handfuls into a glass container with a tight lid until I had enough to cook up for a meal. Diced Onion and Garlic, a tsp of bacon grease or ham and its drippings froze from Christmas or Easter Hams, Salt and Pepper, and just enough water to cover.

Or I also would toss with either Avocado Oil or Olive Oil with minced Garlic, Sea Salt and Cracked Pepper and Roast in the oven til tender.

But, today, I was hankering for a Cream Base…I boiled up Medium Pasta Shells. In a Medium Pan I put a pat of Butter, diced Onion and Garlic, One Link of Chicken Apple Gouda Sausage cut in slices, Bite size Green Beans and Frozen Green Peas, and A Splash of Chicken Broth. Put a lid on it and let it simmer til beans were crisp tender. Added the Shell Pasta and about a 1/4 cup of Heavy Cream, salt and pepper to taste. Then let the liquid reduce and thicken with lid off…and well…wa la!

Hoping all have an Awesome FriYay! And may your weekend be filled with Love and laughter.

Peace and Love to you ~~Pam

Been a Long While

“I’m Still Here”

Where to Begin? Let’s just start with what caused all the changes in My Life…

January 2015, about 9:15 AM, I smoked my last cigarette. (Three Quarters of my Life I smoked, 2 -3 packs a day. Oh, Believe me I wanted to quit for so long, but being Addicted, out of Habit and an Excuse to break from frustration, or a tense situation to smoke… I just could not stop). A couple of Months before and leading up to, I was experiencing what I thought to be a Panic Attacks (Ya know life beating you up with loads of stress, problems, etc and so forth and your body caving under pressure). But it was somewhat different.

I called my Husband, he came home, I announced I needed him to take me to the Emergency Room. We arrived, I went in as he parked. I told the staff I believe I may be having a Heart Attack. They Hooked me up to an EKG, and it was a Blur of Hurry Hurry after that. A Room full of Techs were prepping me for Emergency Surgery. Putting Nitroglycerin under my tongue, IV Line Inserted it was an absolute blur. Heart Specialist on Call came in and said “I need a consent from you in front of all these Techs Witness that you will allow me to save your life”. I said yes, and that’s all I remember until I woke up in ICU.

I startled the Nurse when I woke up. I awoke a lot sooner than expected. I had to wait on the Heart Doctor who performed the Surgery to get answers to any questions I had. The Heart Doc and his demeanor is very to the point. In which to be honest I am Thankful for. He came in and explain to me that he had put x2 stents in the Main Artery going into my heart. He explained that upon arrival to Emergency that my heart had no blood flow going into it and my heart was literally jumping out of my chest. He used the main artery in my Right leg to perform the Surgery, other than opening my chest up.

Then he asked me a Question, “Why are you still here?”. It threw me off, made me literally stop and think (That NCIS Gibbs back of the Head Slap, that kind of moment). My only Response to him was, “God has got my Attention”.

Here I am, 4 Years later. From 10 Heart medications down to 2. Have not smoked since 9:15 AM January 2015. Still making changes to how I eat, my attitude, making new habits. I am Not Perfect. I want to keep it Simple and keep it Real. I still have a long ways to go, but I choose to be Happy and enjoy the way.

Until next time. <waving> Thanks for stopping by. Have a Beautiful day and Shine On!

Had me knocked to the ground
Had me down for the count
My faith a million miles away
And I dropped outta sight
This overcomer, lost her
Will to fight
I know it’s been a while since
Anybody see me smile and
Shame had me thinking it was
Game over
Thought my best days were gone, yeah
Turns out, that I was wrong ’cause
This is my comeback song, yeah
And by the grace of God
I’m still here
Hope is rising, waking up my soul
I’m still here
All my broken, turning beautiful
‘Cause I feel my heartbeat beating
And my lungs breathe breathing
Guess my God’s not done with me yet
I’m still here
All my yesterdays are gone
And the best is yet to come
Now I see
There’s a reason I survived
There’s a story still to write
His grace is working everything
Everything for my good
In a way that, only
He could
I know it’s been a while since
Anybody’s seen me smile and
Shame had me thinking it was
Game over
Thought my best days were gone, yeah
Turns out, that I was wrong ’cause
This is my comeback song
I’m still here (I’m still here)
Hope is rising, waking up my soul
I’m still here (I’m still here)
All my broken, turning beautiful
‘Cause I feel my heart beat beating
And my lungs breathe breathing
Guess my God’s not done with me yet (done with me yet)
I’m still here (I’m still here)
All my yesterdays are gone
And the best is yet to come
He lifted me up (He lifted me up)
Out of the pit
All glory to God
I will sing it again
He lifted me up (yeah)
Out of the pit
All glory to God
And the best is yet to come
The best is yet to come
I’m still here (I’m still here)
Hope is rising, waking up my soul (waking up my soul)
I’m still here (I’m still here)
All my broken, turning beautiful
‘Cause I feel my heart beat beating
And my lungs breathe breathing
Guess my God’s not done with me yet (done with me yet)
‘Cause I’m still here (I’m still here)
All my yesterdays are gone
And the best is yet to come
The best is yet to come

Empty Nest?… And of Course some Crochet! :)

Well I think My door has stopped Revolving. I’ve gone through the years of Moving out, oops, Moving in, back and forth.  My door was spinning.

But… I think it’s safe now… (Praying)

Let the Renovations Begin!!!!!

First the Hall Bathroom! My Husband and I tend to make do with what we have, so basically we enhanced what was there. Now the Task of removing 52 years of paint off a bathroom vanity and cabinet/closet … (I literally lost my patience) What a Nightmare… Days of Paint Stripper, Scraping but finally to the Original Wood.

I decided on a Bombay Mahogany Stain, then Layering Clear Finish. I still have Cabinet doors to do (Only 5 Left out of a Total of 9 Doors and 2 Drawers). But the bathroom is looking Awesome!

Here is the Stripped Closet/Cabinet (Painter’s Tape for me is a must!)

Here is the Stained Finish

Our Bathroom is A lot of White and Shades of Tile Blue, so we picked out Tile to Compliment The dark Mahogany and pull in another shade of Blue…The Counter Top is White, Old and White…But being this House was built 52 Years ago…we were kinda scared to think what we would have torn up to remove the Counter Top …so Tile It!

We have run across so many other quirks trying to replace and repair.  Ha! In just removing the Sink was a “What the heck did they secure this thing with?” (Turned out to be some form of Concrete…yes, Hard Concrete, not caulk, nope …My Hubby had to take a break… Just Breathe… Count to 10… Let’s figure this out…) So Hubby says, “Honey don’t you have some Easter Shopping to do for the Kids?” (In other words, Honey you might want to leave for this. When I returned it was removed, not in one piece.)

So we invested in a Tile Cutter.

Hubby set to cutting out all pieces to fit the top of Sink Counter. (Just adding to what we have)

We found the Tile .99 Cents a sheet at Floor & Decor. The White Sink at Home Depot for $38.00 and The Bronze Finish Faucet and Drain Pop Up Set for $98.00

We still have to install the Tile, but it looks Great!!!!!!!!!!!  Right along with a new Sink! 😉  (We laid the old one to Rest… Don’t ask…) We also decided to Tile the Shelves in the Cabinet/Closet.

It’s all coming along…

And for the Easter Shopping? Ha! Hubby wanted me to Shop so I did!

I put together 2 Huge Baskets, One for my Daughter and Grandson and One for my Son and His Family.

It was a Tradition My Husband’s Mother did for us before she passed. So we are carrying on the Tradition in Her Memory.

One Basket filled with what the Parents and Kids love to snack on per Family. Filled with Bags of Beef Jerky, Slim Jims, Pistachio’s, Sunflower Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds and Yogurt covered Raisins.

Boxes of Goldfish Cheddar, Fruit Chews, Rice Krispie Treats, of course a bag of Reese’s Eggs, Peeps.

{Ya have ta’ put in Chocolate somewhere, and the Peeps? It’s Easter!}

And for the Lil Ones, Coloring Books, Crayons, Puzzles, Stuff Toy, Clothes. A Few Bags of Plastic Eggs.

My Youngest Grandson is Teething so he gets a Cooler Teether, Oragel, and a Bib.  By the time I was done it wouldn’t all fit into the Basket…  Oh well…

Hubby is trying to find a box to fit it all so we can Ship to My Son.  Hehehe…

But of course I have to do my Crochet.

My Son and His Family moved to Ohio.

So I have been busy with Afghans One for the Parents and One for My Granddaughter. The One for my Granddaughter is a Shaped Afghan that is taking (it seems) forever. But it’s coming along. It had to Have Pink Camo in the Colors.  Redheart has a complete line of Different Camo Colors. So I went with Pink Camo, Frosty Green, Cream and Cafe Latte. The Design is in a Pattern Book ” Shaped Afghans” Found here: I will post a Pic when Completed.

The Blanket (Not Roadie my Rescue Pup) is what I had made for Hubby with Bernat’s  Soft and Cozy Blanket Yarn. My Son has requested one … It’s was just a Simple Single Crochet 2 Rows, Alternating Colors Of Hunter Green and Beige. Using an N Crochet Hook. It works up quick the Yarn is Chunky, the Thickness is about an inch thick. A great Snuggle up keep warm Blankie!  Just ask Roadie! 😉

But I had to stop and make a few Lil Items! Just to let myself know I can complete a Project!  😉

So I found this Pattern for Vintage Pot Holders … Shabby Chic … It reminded me of my Grandmother in Spring time with Lemon Meringue Pies, Homemade Oatmeal Raisin Pecan cookies, and turning the Handle for Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream. (Nope no Electric Ice Cream Maker back then, it was Grand kids Promised bowls of Ice Cream, but you have to turn the Handle to make it Bribe!)

Size 10 Thread in White, Maize and Mint. USA Steel Hook 7 Patterns can be found here:

And of Course Pinterest is Great for finding Ideas and Free Patterns!

As I was perusing I saw this next Pattern and thought “HA! I have all of the Materials already! I am making this!”   Pot Scrubbers, Lily Sugar ‘n Cream Cotton Yarns. So gathering it all up I made these 2 Items.

My Daughter has already claimed one for her own. These worked up quick!

Less than 30 minutes quick! Free Pattern Here: Image

Need to Think about Afghan’s, Dinners, and cleaning and renovations,  Until next time… Happy Easter and God Bless!

Dirt Cake Recipe

Dirt Cake

It is My Son’s Birthday. When asked what Birthday Dessert He would like, he automatically Responded “Dirt Cake”. He’s 25 today. And He wanted a Matchbox Truck on top. (Kids! LOL)  I first made this Cake 25 years ago for my then 5 year old Daughter.( Who is now 30) I still have the Clear Planter Pot. I went so far as to buy a spray of fake flowers, wrapped the stems is a Ziploc Bag and stuck it in the middle of the Pot. She fussed around asking where her Cake was, My brother got a big spoon and walked over to the table & told her “Right Here”, she proceeded to tell him he was being silly, til my brother spooned out a big bite & ate it. She was yelling,” Mommie did you see that? Uncle Joey is eating Dirt!” Took us a while to convince her it was “Dirt Cake” She requests it every year for her Birthday Dessert.

I had enough left over to make Ramekins without the Gummie Worms, for those of us who just enjoy the pudding mix & Crushed Oreos.

Dirt Cake Ingredients

IMG_2510        IMG_2511

IMG_2512 I took a Big Spoon using the back part and pressed it up the sides (so It looks like a pot filled with dirt).

IMG_2514 The pudding mixed w/softened Cream Cheese & Cool Whip

IMG_2515  The First Layers, with Gummie Worms Climbing up the Sides, I alternated the worms in each layer.

IMG_2513 Hehehe…so far so good. 🙂

IMG_2516 Then the Finished Dirt Cake, With a few Ramekins without the Gummies.

So here is the Recipe:

8oz Cream Cheese Softened

2 small Instant Vanilla Pudding Pkgs

8oz Cool Whip Softened

2 lbs Oreo Cookies

Gummie Worms

Follow Directions on Vanilla Pudding pkgs in a big bowl, Set aside.

In a Food Processor, (or a Blender) Process Oreo’s til resemblance of well…Dirt.  🙂

Add Soften Cream Cheese to Pudding and mix well, then add Soften Cool whip, mix.

Now depending on what container you put it in… I started with Layer of Oreo first, but you could start w/Pudding  then Oreo.  Add Gummies in Pudding layer. And that’s it!

Hope you Have Fun with this Recipe as we have with the Little Ones.
